2011 – 2014 Research Assistant, Department of Pre- and Early Historical Archaeology, Bonn University; preparation of publications of the BMBF-project “Geoarchaeology in the Steppe – Reconstruction of Cultural Landscapes in the Orkhon Valley, Central Mongolia” as well as assistance in other projects (Mongolia).

Research stays in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, for Ph.D. thesis: “Studies on handicraft and trade in the old Mongolian capital Karakorum”, each supported by DAAD-scholarships for Ph.D.-candidates.
